Video: Shared Parenting Activism In Kentucky

A new shared parenting bill recently went into effect in Kentucky that sets the presumption of joint custody and equal parenting time for temporary child custody orders.

Pushing the legislation through was a four-year process and at the center of those efforts was shared parenting activist Matt Hale of the National Parents Organization. Hale persistently showed up at local Town Hall meetings to explain why shared parenting is so important and to argue why the bill needed to be introduced and passed.

Hale joins DadsDivorce to talk about his approach and to encourage parents in other states to get involved with NPO as shared parenting advocates.
