Fathers 4 Justice wants to level the playing field when it comes to custody battles during divorce.

Spokesperson Denis Van Decker tells Bayshore Broadcasting news the movement began in the United Kingdom but has spread into North
America.

The group wants custody split right down the middle so that neither parent gets full custody of a child in a divorce case.

Fathers 4 Justice has attracted some attention in the media by holding rallies dressed as super heroes.

August 4th, a man dressed as "Plywood man" was arrested on top of NDP leader Jack Layton’s constituency office.

He was protesting the fact Layton and NDP do not support amendments to the divorce act.

On September 2nd, Fathers 4 Justice will be rolling thru Collingwood (9:45 AM), Owen Sound (11:30 AM) , Port Elgin (1:15 PM), Kincardine (2:15 PM) and Goderich (3:45 PM).

Van Decker says they will be dressed in super hero costumes and will be passing out post-cards on the issue.

Supporters in Owen Sound are asked to go to St. Georges Park at 11:30 AM with a rally at city hall afterwards.
