Rose McDermott recently worked on a study entitled “Breaking Up is Hard to Do, Unless Everyone Else is Doing it Too,” which explores how a divorce within a social network can influence others to consider a dissolution of marriage.
McDermott, a professor of political science at Brown University and the former president of the International Society of Political Psychology, shared with DadsDivorce.com editor Matt Allen her findings about the “divorce contagion.”
