There is a growing interest in the academic world in studying the manner in which fathers and children interact. New research is showing that dads often form bonds with their children in very unique ways.

Kathryn Kerns, professor of psychological sciences at Kent State University, is one of the researchers who has developed better ways to examine how those bonds are formed.
