Video: Cordell & Cordell News – July 17, 2015

Dads Divorce, sponsor Cordell & Cordell and sister site MensDivorce.com have teamed up to present a series of weekly recap videos to keep you informed on the latest news and top stories.

This week, Cordell & Cordell opened a new office in Independence, Ohio. The new office is Cordell & Cordell’s seventh in Ohio and is part of the firm’s expansion in an effort to  help men and fathers overcome the disadvantages they face in family courts.

Dads Divorce added a new video to its DadsDivorce Live series featuring an interview with CNN broadcast reporter Josh Levs. Two years ago, Levs made headlines when he sued Time Warner over their paternity leave policy. He recently released a book titled, “All In: How Our Work-First Culture Fails Dads, Families, And Businesses – And How We Can Fix It Together.”

Men’s Divorce published a new article about the shared-parenting movement, which continues to gain momentum in the United States. Although there is still opposition from lawyers, bar associations and feminist groups, more and more states are considering legislation that would grant children of divorce equal parenting time with each parent.
