Kimberly King is a child-development professional, certified early-childhood educator and speaker. King has authored a pair of children’s books that deal with two very serious matters that can be difficult for parents to approach their kids about.
Her first book, “I Said No!” is a best-selling children’s book about sexual-abuse prevention. Her second book, “When Your Parents Divorce,” tells the story from a perspective of a child and her siblings whose parents are divorcing. The book includes interactive and reflective journaling exercises that allows children to express their thoughts and emotions about the process.
King joined DadsDivorce Live to discuss her own experience with divorce and how she tackles such complicated subject matters while also writing books that are both informative and appropriate for children.
For a chance to win a copy of both of King’s books, like or share the video below on Twitter or Facebook and you will be entered in a random drawing with a winner selected May 6.
