Video: Cordell & Cordell News – January 23, 2015

Cordell & Cordell, along with its sponsored sites Dads Divorce and Men’s Divorce, present a news video for the week of January 23, 2015.

This week, Cordell & Cordell announced that it is expanding to its 30th state with the opening of an office in Providence, R.I. The new office is the latest in Cordell & Cordell’s expansion to help protect men’ and father’s rights across the country. More offices are slated to open in 2015.

Dads Divorce published an article detailing what it means when someone is in contempt of court and what the possible consequences are.

To determine if an individual is in contempt, examine the court order or any other document that has been issued into the judgement. Civil contempt cases are generally not punitive but is used as a coercive power to ask the contemnor to comply with the court’s actions.

Men’s Divorce posted an article explaining the importance of using clear language and details in divorce decrees and orders.

Vague language can lead to disagreements post-divorce. It is important to be as detailed as possible when writing a decree or order. When in doubt, the more detail the better.
